Medical fitness

As per DGCA, a student requires to meet certain medical standards as an admission requirement. This is necessary for admittance and issue of licence. For PPL, the student has to undergo a medical checkup with a local DGCA approved doctor. However for CPL, a candidate has to undergo a comprehensive medical checkup either at the institute of Aerospace Medicine (IAM), Bangalore or the Central Medicine establishment, New Delhi.
